Spreading, evergreen male holly with deep purplish-black stems that contrast well against the glossy green leaves. Clusters of small white flowers from late winter through spring. Prefers fertile well drained soil in sun or part shade. Hardy. Height 5m spread 4m. ! male is sufficent to pollinate  5 females.
