A fabulous and exotic form of ginger lily with striking heads of orange-red flowers in late summer-Autumn. Bamboo like growth with alternate, broad, rich green, lanceolate leaves. Height upto 2m. Fertile, moist but free draining soil in sun is best. Cut down to ground level in late Autumn and give a generous dry bark mulch for winter. Choice!
