Unlike most other Magnolias, Black Tulip will reliably flower twice in a season once mature. Once in spring and again in August-September. Black Tulip prefers a fertile, moist but well drained soil, in the sun or partial shade with protection from strong winds. Height and spread to 4m x 2-4m.
