A useful clump forming perennial for a shady border that happily grows in most soils. Commonly called the 'White wood Aster' it has broadly lanceolate green leaves and sprays of open white flushed pink flowers with yellow centres produced on wiry black stems from June to October. Height and spread to around 60cm.
