Salvia elegans Scarlet Pineapple (9cm)

Dense hairy, pinapple-scented mid green leaves with large scarlet flowers from midsummer right through the winter if taken into a greenhouse or conservatory before the first frosts. Used sparingly the leaves make an interesting and unusual addition to fruit salads.Height and spread to around 1m x 60cm. Ideal for pots. Any fertile soil in a sunny spot.
