A rare form of the foxglove tree. Large, serrated edged, downy, green heart shaped leaves. Leaves become smaller as the tree grows larger and as it matures it bears masses of lilac foxglove type flowers in May and June. Unpruned height and spread to around 7-10m x 5-8m. Best in humus rich but well drained soil in sun sheltered from strong winds.
