A compact shrub with arching stems with young foliage purple-tinged and pretty cup-shaped dark crimson flowers. Height and spread 1m. Manuka honey comes from the pollen collected by bees from Leptospermum bushes. An excellent evergreen for a very sheltered spot or cool greenhouse.
