Vinca difformis Jenny Pym (1lt)

A most unusual form of Vinca, bearing masses of pink flowers with distinct white centres for several months from late Autumn right through mild winters and into spring. A good vigorous evergreen ground cover plant with a height to around 30cm. Grows in most soils in sun or shade. Requires a more sheltered position than Vinca major types but is reliably hardy in well drained soils. Difformis vincas are so maned due to the 2 different types of shoots, one being a long non flowering spreading and self layering shoot and the other being a shorter to 25cm tall flowering shoot. Quite lovely!
