The flowers are large white  with maroon central blotches and yellow eyes in May and June. Rounded, evergreen shrub with a height and spread to around 1m. Lanceolate, leathery deep green leaves. Any well drained soil in sun. Drought tolerant and deer and rabbit resistant.
