WINEBERRY. Large hairy leaves with white undersides on upright stems to 1.2m tall. Stems are a deep wine colour and very spiney. They look wonderful planted in drifts in the winter. Pale pink flowers followed by delicious wineberry fruits. Any good fertile soil in sun or light shade.
