Clump forming deciduous perennial with pretty, thistle-like dark red flowers from June, which when dead-headed will lengthen flowering time. Grows well in a sunny mixed borders. Good for cut flowers. Best in sandy well drained soil in full sun. Height up to 1m, spread 50cm
