A select form of Sea Holly. Rosettes of spiny, silvery green basal leaves. Branched stems of cone-shaped, intense blue flowers surrounded by spiny, blue silvery bracts with green tips from May to July. Good for picking and drying. Any moist but well drained soil in a sunny position.
