A beautiful  form of snowy mespilus that grows as the name suggests, to an upright, obelisk shaped tree of around 7m x 2-3m. Oval, apple green leaves and in May the whole tree is smothered in white blossum. A good choice as a cornerpiece or as a tall screen. Very hardy and grows on any well drained soil in sun or part shade. Recommended.
