Rosa omeiensis pteracantha (6lt)

The Bloodthorn rose. This beauty is grown predominately for its wonderful fin like blood red thorns that run along the stems on new wood. Pretty single white flowers in June/July. Small toothed green leaves. Prune hard in winter to encourage fresh new growth that will hold the blood coloured thorns. Pruned height and spread to around 1.2m. Unpruned height to 3m. Recommended.
