Hop Hornbeam tree. An upright tree when young broadening with age to become a rounded tree. Dark green toothed leaves. In spring yellow male catkins and clusters of white flowers. The flowers ripen to straw coloured hop like fruits giving the tree it's common name. Height to 20m.
