One of the larger and more vigorous clump forming, non-invasive bamboo with slightly larger leaves than robusta. Height 3-5m. Grows fastest in part shade to shade but will grow well in sun. Upright habit. Small evergreen leaves with white sheathes on olive green stems. Ideal as a screening bamboo or as a specimen in a container.
