Dwarf Brazilian Tree Fern. Fresh dark green, finely toothed leathery fronds make bold clumps with leaves up to 60cm long and a trunk to around 30cm in the right conditions! Volcano has striking bronze red new growth and is evergreen when grown in a suitable environment. Although suitable for outdoor cultivation in summer this plant is better suited to a conservatory. Hardy only to -3⁰c . Humus rich, moist but free draining soil is preferable.
