Calico Bush, Mountain Laurel. A dense bushy evergreen shrub with glossy, dark green leaves. Pretty deep red buds open to amazing, large  bowl-shaped, pale pink to white flowers with intricate maroon blotches and a maroon serrated border line to the stamens. Best in moist but free draining acidic soil. Ideal for pots in full sun that can be kept moist. Height and spread to between 1 and 2m.
