Burgundy red new leaves mature a deep blue/green. Male form with clusters of white flowers in spring/summer. An excellent pollinator for female hollies. Prefers fertile, well drained, neutral to acid soil in full sun or very light shade. Hardy. Height and spread to around 3m x 2m. Great for hedges, topiary or a stand alone specimen.
