Yellow catkins in spring followed by rounded green leaves and delicious hazelnuts in Autumn. Used extensively in mixed hedges and for coppicing. Coppiced sticks are very useful for pea sticks, bean canes, wigwams or walking sticks! Height and spread to around 8m x 5m. Great for wildlife.
