Deeply cut, lobed serrated leaves are dark purple and curled at the edges resembling a starfish. Great autumn colours if grown in sun to light shade. Height and spread to between 2 and 3m after 10years. Humus rich, neutral to acid soil. Suited to containers or borders. Makes a beautiful specimen for a small garden.
