Compact growth. Upright, evergreen female shrub with dark purple stems that contrast well against the  glossy dark green leaves. Clusters of white flowers in spring/summer followed by shiny red berries from Autumn through winter. Prefers fertile, well drained soil in full sun or very light shade. Hardy. Height 3m spread 2m.
