This amazing perennial overwinters as small silvery rosettes. In spring clumps of large, green, thistle like leave, with wolly undersides appear and from July to September stout stems hold large lilac purple daisy flowers that are good for picking. A plant that demands attention. Free draining soil in sun with a height and spread to around 70cm x 50cm.
