Dark blue, almost black buds open to deep violet , trumpet shaped flowers from mid to late summer. Bred for its colour and longevity of flowering giving colour for  months on end. Strap like green leaves with a height and spread to around 60cm x 40cm. Free draining soil in sun is best. May need winter protection in severe winters.
