Bold clumps of strap like, lush, arching mid-green leaves to around 70cm. In late summer/early autumn tall stems of sweetly scented funnel-shaped white lily flowers appear above the foliage to around 1m tall. Flowers are good for picking and last for a week or more in water. Likes a sheltered, fertile, south, east or west facing border. Mulch well in autumn to protect the bulbs in winter.
