One of the smallest leaved members of the mint family and makes an attractive ground cover which when trodden on releases a delicious minty scent. Used to flavour Crème de menthe. Height to 3cm. Great for cracks in pavements, walls etc. Small lilac flowers in summer. Easy to grow and tolerant of most soils. Grows best in sun to part shade.
