Pennyroyal is a potent member of the mint family. When the leaves are crushed it emits a strong smell of spearmint. It is said to repel mosquitoes, ants and fleas and is commonly used as an insect repellent. Good ground cover for moist soil. Lilac flowers in summer. Good for pots or borders. Spreading habit with a height to 15cm.
