An unusual and garden worthy fastigiate form of oak eventually growing to around 12m x 3m. Attractive deep green leaves are red tinted when young, turning red/orange before falling in the autumn. Yellowish green catkins in spring followed by acorns in late summer. Grows in any fertile well drained soil in sun or part shade. Choice.
