Chinese red birch. Pale pink bark peels in sheets in winter. Makes a striking specimen tree casting a dappled shade with its diamond shaped green leaves that have eyecatching yellow autumn colour. Gorws in most soils in sun or part shade with a height and spread to around 10-15m x 6-10m at maturity.
