Prairie dropseed. Slow growing gracefull, flowing mounds of narrow mid green foliage. In summer airy flower heads rise high above the foliage opening dark pink and fading to silver. Self seeds hence the common name. Good orange autumn colour before fading to a coppery brown for winter. Height and spread to around 45cm. Free draining soil in sun is best.
