Cape thatching reed. A handsome, upright growing reed with distinct brown sheaths up the stems. A superb structural plant for a damp sheltered site in neutral to acid soil. Grows well in pots too providing there is sufficient water. Hardy to around -8c. Height and spread to around 1m x 50cm.
