A naturally occurring hybrid between P. densiflora and P. thunbergii. Prized for cones in late summer to winter and whitish buds in spring it makes a lovely drought, heat, cold and wind tolerant evergreen, often multi-stemmed conifer with a height and spread to around 1.5m x 2-2.5m in 10 years.
