Flowers open reddish/black when young and fade to a deep wine red. Flowers from may right through to the autumn. Prune to shape and tie up in the autumn, or hard prune in early spring. Hard pruning will result in the loss of the early flowers. Height and spread 6-8ft (2m). Any soil in sun or part shade.
