Outstanding variety with red buds opening to ruby pink flowers with darker frilly edges and greenish yellow spotting in May-June. Flowers fade to a pale pink as they age. Neat habit with large pale green rounded leaves and a 10 year height and spread to around 1m. Neutral to acid, humus rich soil in sun to part shade is best. A good choice to grow in a pot.
