Female form of spotted Laurel. Purple flowers in spring and red berries in late summer/autumn provided there is a male near by for pollination. An excellent evergreen shrub for those awkward shady places. Grows in most locations and will tolerate dense dry shade. Height and spread to around 3m.  Also suitable for hedging.
