Kalmia latifolia Tiddlywinks (5lt)

Calico Bush, Mountain Laurel. A dense bushy evergreen shrub with glossy, dark green leaves. Pretty deep red buds open to amazing, large  bowl-shaped, soft pink flowers with intricate maroon blotches and a maroon serrated border line to the stamens. Best in moist but free draining fertile, neutral to acidic soil. Ideal for pots in full sun that can be kept moist. An award winning and compact form with a height and spread to around 1m.
