Cockspur thorn. Clusters of large white flowers in early summer followed by round dark red fruits. Height and spread to around 7m x 5m. Superb autumn colour and spectacular thorns that really shine out on a sunny winters day. Debatably the best of all the hawthorns with 4 seasons of interest. Any soil or position. Great for birds and bees. Good as a specimen or a hedge.
