The deep rich purple red foliage is deeply divided and rolled at the edges turning a purple green in summer before turning spectacular fiery colours in the autumn. Scortch resistant even in full sun.  A graceful small tree with a height and spread to around 4m x 3m. Best in neutral to acid soil.
