An unusual, deciduous, suckering shrub. Ovate leaves and clusters of fragrant, white, bell shaped flowers in spring followed by purple plum like fruit where both male and female plants are present. Sun or partial shade in moist but well drained soil. Height and spread to around 2.5m x 4m
