Sumptuous red blooms held by lovely deep burgundy calyx on healthy green upright foliage. More compact than previous forms of this Salvia, making it easier for both containers and borders. Fertile, well drained soil in sun to light shade. Half-hardy so may need winter protection or treat as an annual.
