A select form of B. officionalis named after the village of Hummelo in Holland next to Piet Oudolf's garden that has bright purple-pink flowers in summer and early autumn above rosettes of lanceolate dark green leaves. A reliable perennial with an eyecatching and unusual flower colour. Best in sun to light shade in free draining soil that does not sit wet in the winter. Height and spread to around 50cm x 60cm. AKA - Stachys officinalis Hummelo.
