Chicory radicchio. Very pretty mid blue large daisy flowers from june through the summer.flowers can reach 5ft (120cms). Roots can be dried and used as a coffee substitute (revolting!). Much better used as an ornamental to add height to the border. Any soil in sun or light shade. Seeds freely.
