Montbretia. Lance shaped green leaves. Flower spikes are borne from midsummer. Flowers are a rich red with orange giving a two toned effect. Height and spread to around 60cm x 40cm. Any soil in sun or light shade. Great for adding colour to a late summer mixed border. Easy to grow.
