Huge, trilobed green leaves emerge in spring on top of shiny, russet red stems to a height of around 90cm when mature. In summer dark purple and white striped hooded flowers are both unusual and eyecatching. Cobra lilys are fascinating plants deserving a place in any woodland area of the garden.
