Aralia cordata Sun King (3lt)

Makes an unusual addition to the shady border. Leaves emerge a bright golden colour contrasting well against the reddish brown stems. Just a couple of hours sun a day and the colour remains golden through the summer. In deeper shade the leaf colour ranges from chartreuse to lime green. in midsummer small white flowers are followed by purple-black inedible berries. Clump forming to about 1m x 1m and seems to be deer resistant! Choice
