Vitis vinifera Cabernet Sauvignon (3lt)

Classic french claret grape variety, one of the premier grapes for making red wine worldwide. Late fruiting with small black grapes hanging in conical bunches with an intense flavour. Fresh green, deeply lobed leaves. Requires a long growing season so best grown under cover in all but the mildest areas. Unpruned height and spread 8x3m. Needs a sunny position or dappled shade. Hardy.
