Long stalked, paddle shaped, sage green leaves. In summer tall spears of violet blue tubular flowers rise above the foliage. A lovely marginal plant. Best planted in 20cm of water or more so that the roots don't freeze in winter. Sheltered spot in sun. Height and spread to around 1.4m x 1m.
