A bushy shrub with dark green leaves turning red in autumn. Very large heads of sweetly scented white flowers, opening from red buds from mid to late spring (April to May) followed by red fruit in June that ripens to black by autumn. Height and spread 4-5ft (1.5m). Any soil in sun or part shade. Hardy.
