Crocus tommasinianus (1lt)
Probably the best crocus for naturalising as it seeds freely and is tolerant of both sun and shade. In late winter to early spring pale silvery lilac to deeper purple flowers pop out of the ground to 10cm tall. Try planting a group of them in the corner of the lawn.
