This showy dwarf Cercis is just right for smaller gardens, and its dark maroon, heart-shaped leaves and weeping habit are perfect features in colorful borders. Pretty rose-purple flowers arrive in spring on bright red stems before the foliage, which later changes to burgundy and then to green. Best in full sun in well drained soil. Height 1.8m, spread 1.2m.
